HMFD & Chicken Pox , Get away from Zara!!!
Oh my god... Zara got fever this night (20 May 2009) but recovered in the same day... Next day, she got red spots or blisters over her hands, feet and arms out of blue... This made me suspecting it to be HMFD... me got no choice to apply urgent leave to take her to a doctor praying it would turn out as a false alarm...
Unfortunately, the doctor confirmed it to be HMFD... sigh.. He assured me not to worry about this and she would recover after 5 days... and gave me the special and clear instructions... Thanks god for this wonderful and patient doctor who wrote on the paper patiently... he also told me to leave everything to him to alert the nursery and NEA on my behalf... wowow...
I checked her body which go so big blisters.. oh my god... poor her groaning in pain and she also got alot of tiny mouth ulcers...
Zara complained of itch and I forbid her to itch and instructed her to "slap" the blisters to relieve the itchness..
After this, I bought the Dettol to disinfect all the beds, changed the bedsheets, cleaned the toys and etc... Really exhausting!!!
After few days later, the blisters appeared on her face and chest... how strange... I guessed that it was chicken pox... I asked my mum in law to phone the doctor to make the appointment for us to go down to his clinic to double-confirm..
Yeah!! my god.. yes confirmed as chicken pox... the doctor re-confirmed that Zara got 2 diseases at the same time - HMFD and Chicken Pox at the same time... poor her suffering and battling against 2 diseases at the same time... Pray that she will have speedy recovery and more energy to fight the battle!!!
I also reminded my mum in law and Xavier to keep away from Zara to avoid being infected too... I can notice Zara being very sad to be kept away.. poor her...

Belated Mother's Day (15 May 2009)
Girlfriends' Holiday (Penang) - 29 Apr to 2 May 2009
I booked the free air tickets to Penang via Air Asia which offered 1 million free seats last year... so kiasu of me to book :p
29th April 2009 (Wednesday)
We assembled at Clementi MRT Station at 6.45am which my hubby's colleague arranged to pick us up to drive us to Senai Airport (cost S$50 per trip)... Of course my hubby was very anxious and preferred us to take more familiar transport like his colleague, not malaysian taxi driver.. alamak!!! It took us almost 2 hours to reach Senai Airport from Clementi MRT Station...
Hurray!!! We finally arrived Penang Airport after almost 1 hour flying.. wowo.. so well-renovated... We checked in Bayview Hotel and given complimentary food vouchers like welcome gifts... After leaving our bags in our rooms, we roamed around and chose Mexico Restaurant for lunch... wow. so cheap RM$13.90 including main course, drink, soup & bread and dessert.. not bad... what a steal!!! We shopped at Komtar (Largest Shopping Mall) and took a taxi by chance who was willing to guide us around Penang.. so wonderful.. RM$25 per hour... We confirmed to book him for the next day (30 Apr 2009)..
30 April 2009 (Thursday)
We arranged to meet outside lobby of our hotel for the trip... To our surprises, we were shown the itinerary programmes which he got alot of patience to write down..
